About

As a 3D artist at NCSOFT I worked closely with Lead and Senior artists to maintained art production pipelines, workflows and processes for building environments as well as collaborating with the design team to ensure that environments were not only beautiful but also functional and fun. I took direction and was able to iterate on look and feel of game environments and strive to match the visual targets set forth by concept artists.

During my studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco I spent three years perfecting my fundamental art skills; particularly focusing on:

light, line, silhouette, perspective, anatomy, color theory, design.

Only after gaining these fundamental art skills did I begin to work in 3D. The second half of my degree was focused on making “Next-Gen”, industry ready, 3D assets; from concept and design to finished, industry-ready props for video games and film. I have thorough knowledge of Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Unity and Unreal software. While my focus is 3D modeling and texturing, I also have experience in sculpting, sketching, animating, concept and particle design. It is because of my passion for making 3D artwork and entertaining that I am comfortable working with and learning new software.
